Housesitter wanted.
B and I are going to visit my mom in Panzance, this October 11-19, and we are looking for someone to house and cat sit. Parts of that time would also be useful.
The house is in Maine on the banks of the Sheepscot river (about 3 hours from Boston). The leaves should be near their peak at the time, and it is a season where we get beautiful sunsets nearly every day. It will be around shine through day (a bit past) so the light in the house in the afternoon should be spectacular.
There are 2 double beds, 1 double pull out couch, and 2 single beds (in one room).
The cats are a bit shy, but generally friendly. They need food once a day, and scritches every so often.
It is a house built with sustainablilty in mind, with thick insulation in the walls, and composting toilets. The house is heated by a woodstove, and there is plenty of wood, but we don't usually start fires until a little later in the season. For those who enjoy that sort of thing, their will no doubt be some wood left to gather and split.
Preference will be given to someone who would stay in the house, but if we can't find anyone, someone to just look after the cats would be great.
