It's one of those hot, sweltry, humid nights; my body begins to sympathize with the local environment, and out of empathy covers itself with a thin coat of moisture. Gonna have problems getting to sleep tonight.
We got some kitties. I took a bunch of pictures, but I'm only going to show you a few.
They warmed up to people very fast... the one on the left is "Apollo", and the one on the right is "Cake." The name cake was my idea.
Bad angle in the picture, but Cake really is about the size of a coke can, little bit smaller.
Cake mama died, so he had to be bottle fed and didn't get much attention from adult cats, like his "adoptive mama kitty", Apollo's mom.
Poor kid has had a rough life.
They curled up like a little yin-yang on my tummy
Cake wanted not just to sleep on me, he needed to sleep on top of Apollo as well. Who didn't really mind.
In fact, it seems as though turnabout is fair play.
