my adolescent dreams come true!

Ever since I was 9 years old, I've wanted my computer in my room- complete with internet access.

My uncle Matt is having... issues.. at home and as a result, is moving temporarily into his mother's house. In case you weren't aware, this means all of my mother's sons are now living with her. I wonder how that makes her feel? I come home to my aunt Jeanne looking severely at me. "Alli, we have a job for you today. You have to move your computer up to your room." I guess she thought I'd have a problem with it. I didn't. It was a lot of work since I had to rearrange my room and to do so, I had to consequently clean it, but these days I don't mind work so much. Maybe I'm growing up, realizing that it really is so much quicker if you just do it- and it doesn't have to be so much of a chore as an exercise in organization. I'm pretty proud of myself. I went through so much shit it's ridiculous. Stuff I haven't gone through in years. It's just been sitting in boxes cluttering up the space in room.  I feel so so so accomplished.

In other news, I finished New Moon by Stephanie Meyer. So amazingly good. I finished it in a day. An unfortunately quick read. Am I the only person who HATES finishing a book? I hate it so much. It worries me slightly, the way I am about finishing books.. like maybe I get so depressed because I was having far too much fun pretending I was someone else for a small chunk of time. Like maybe I don't have enough... something in my life and all I want to do is keep living that other person's life. Cause for concern?

In other news, my managers forced me to work a 12 hour shift on Saturday- fantastic. Fuckers. But there was a housewarming party for Keith, Tyler, and the absent Jason. Looks like the Blast! house gets to stay around a while longer. I really like parties there. It's such a great place to have a party, and there's always pretty friendly people there- even at shows. Strange, I know. I'm glad that place can keep on partyin'.

I should sleep. That's going to be the problem with having my computer up here.. I'll never sleep again.

[ps- hey, look, a post with substance!]
