Damned: Journal Entry 03 (DS 58)

Day 5

It seems like some new kind of bullshit is happening every single day and night in this place.

Obviously this has gone without an update for the past few days, so I'll quickly summarize everything I have learned. Badd is still here, and he was never delusional. People can be brought here from various points in time, even after death. It sounds impossible, but is proven true by Badd's being here. I am supposed to be dead, but was apparently brought here just before the murder was supposed to happen. (Calisto Yew was the one responsible. I'm...still not sure what to make of it, honestly.)

The military is still here and is running things with an iron fist. Last night I was taken away by them to be tortured. They injected something into my neck that caused me to hallucinate my daughter. I am not the only one who has been taken away to be tortured like this. A good portion of the patient body has suffered these nightly horror sessions, as reported by a man named Gren. I still don't know where patients are taken for these or why. I also received a letter yesterday apparently written by Kay, but talks about the Anthony Sullivan man listed on my dogtags. Badd also got a letter from his 'wife' with a Photoshopped photograph to match. Why these letters are being given out is beyond me, but it makes me wonder just how much these people know about our lives.

I have heard on the bulletin board that there were 'drug trials' that occurred last night when I was 'busy'. The medicines apparently turned people into monsters and caused hallucinations. I don't know what the offer was, but it obviously wasn't worth what some patients experienced. Another note on the bulletin board reported patients being taken away on dangerous military missions at night.

--Miles Edgeworth has returned and is in the institute somewhere. It seems as though no one can find him right now.
--Rei Ayanami is no longer in the institute.
--Franziska von Karma is possibly here.
--I think probably G

Quite frankly, anything can happen now.

( the letter from DS57 is placed inside the journal on the same page as this entry.)
