[It has to be, what, three, four in the morning now? Maybe even five, who knows. He's been up for almost a whole entire day and could collapse any second, but he doesn't feel even the slightest bit tired right now. Even if he did feel tired, he wouldn't care.
Right now, there are more important things than sleep. Like standing outside of the Pokemon

...Which is to say, worrywart Daddy Faraday has quietly entered the room to check on his daughter and make sure she's okay after the events of the night before. He's got Little Thief following close behind him (being as stealthy as possible, of course) and a derpishly happy Wooper sticking out of his scarf. Obviously this is the best team in existence since the original Yatagarasu.
Well, looks like Kay is sleeping right now. This is good - she's getting her rest, unlike a certain someone who, ah, hasn't slept since the night before last. (He? Sleep? Ha! Since when does Byrne Faraday, Great Thief Yatagarasu need to sleep? ...since he got those wrinkles under his eyes and started crashing in the middle of paperwork, that's when, but not like he cares! That's what coffee's for!)
Now, Tal would normally be going Wooper happy-crazy at a time like this, but for once she is calm and quiet. She'll get treats if she behaves, and Tal wants treats! So she's trying her hardest to be as quiet as possible! ...But then she sees that other, incredibly familiar Wooper in the room. And Tal just can't help herself to make one little noise.]
...Woo...
Shhhh, Tal.

Aaand there goes Tal, leaping out of Byrne's scarf while making all sorts of happy Woopery noises, crying out like MOMMYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY and Little Thief is almost literally facepalming beside Byrne as he's just standing there like :|;;; right now. Oh, best quiet entrance indeed.]
WOOPAH WOOPAH WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! [Says Tal as she bounce-bounce-bounces her way to MOMMY]
Oh--Tal, you--
[Face it, Byrne. It's too late to say anything to Tal now. You might as well direct your attention to the daughter that is now probably wide awake and freaked out thanks to the Wooper reunion you have just created. GOOD JOB.]
...Well, nice to see you're up!
