[ now that Kay's had some time to mull it over, she's gotten a lot better at sounding perky again. Somewhat. It's still weighing heavily on her mind, what she knows about her father, but that can wait until she sees him.

The first week I was here, we got stuck in a storm and we had to spend a few days in a cave-- we caught Hoothoots, too! It's been pretty calm on the way there.

Should he ask Kay about it now or let it wait like everything else? He's silent for a moment, wondering what to do.]
