I mean, I don't even know why, since there is no way that it was not intended to be canon. But I can't stop being amused by their ongoing adventures in my head.

Now that I've fed the kids, I have more time to elaborate - the chemistry between that fox and rabbit was better than the chemistry between the het leads in almost any nonanimated movie I've seen lately. I don't exactly want to read explicit scenes of them... doing it (eurgh) but I wouldn't mind some heady romance or power play stuff.

Right after I watched the movie, I went looking for some Zootopia fic on AO3 and didn't find anything of quality. So, yes- you may have to write some. You'll have at least one appreciative reader in me!

Yes exactly to all of that! I dont want explocit pr0nz (though I can imagine there are members of the furwearing community that do, and I'm glad they're getting representation, lolz), I just want grabby adventures because they were uhmaaazing together.

Yes, I posted on FB awhile back that Zootopia is like a gift for the furries - which makes me happy for them - but I can't quite go _there_. However, anything short of _that_ would be very welcome!

...I've just discovered that I might indeed give in. Maybe. There's suddenly an idea that I've conceded can go on my WIP list. :D :D But not THERE there.

I did read an amusing thing on AO3 the other day that was rated "explicit", and I only read it because one of the tags was "fuck me I don't know how to write furry pronz" and I about fell over laughing.
