Valentine's Day
As of today, it has been officially a decade since I was in a relationship.
Yes, it is kind of a douche move to break up on Valentine's Day, people. I'm not still bitter about the relationship all this time later, but it still pisses me off that by doing that he's pretty much ruined the day for me ... maybe not forever, but, well, 10 years and counting.
Also. Being single as long as I have, all the Valentine's Day lovey dovey stuff is painful for me to watch. I'm sure it's bad of me to be bitter and resentful of other people's happiness, and I try to keep that down as much as I can because I don't want to be that person who can't stand other's happiness.. but Valentine's Day makes it very hard.
I think I get a pass on bitter single lady bitchiness this one day a year.
