Poetic Justice

may you always remember
your broken promise
may you wait patiently
and never get what you desire
let every pledge another gives you
be unfulfilled
may no-one ever trust your word

may no-one admire
the works of your mind
your words unread, ignored
and your disguises unseen

let the things that brought you joy
bring only heartsick sadness
may you receive only disdain
from those you admire
when you despair
let there be no-one to comfort you

may your lady break your heart
and let your every love thereafter
be unrequited
let every your every desire
remain unquenched

and when you cry out to your god
let him refuse you
or let him grant you
the opposite of what you need

for remember:
I am like him
I will endure unbroken
but I will break worlds in vengeance
on the ones who made my torment
