meditation

breathing in
i take in the trickster's fire
i inhale his love
breathing in
i take in his comfort
his arms around me
i breathe his strength

breathing out
i expel all the lies
that i told myself
that i ever sparked your imagination
that you ever cared
beyond what you wanted me to give
breathing out
i try to release my love
that blind love, that will not see
and in truth what little use you made of me
but that barbed love
is still hooked in my flesh
some of it i let go
but some remains behind
breathing out
i exile you
i would banish you
strip from you your power over me
you are unworthy of my love
unworthy of my devotion
unworthy of my heart
unworthy of my grief
you are unworthy
breathing out
i expel your poison
