My ridiculously impossible bucket list.
So I've decided to start, well, I guess not really a bucket list, because some of them are frankly impossible. For the lulz, really, "I could die happy if..."
In no order other than the order they come to mind in. Stickied, not because I expect to remove anything from the list because it's happened, but because I expect I'll add things as I think of them.
1. Inspired by this fanfic, well, I won't go into too much detail because spoilers if people want to read the series. Short version. Tony Stark has built a luxury resort hotel on the moon, because he's Tony f***ing Stark, that's why. And it's a luxury resort hotel because it would be, wouldn't it. Well, you know how the high end Vegas casino hotels host really high end showbiz stuff? Okay. Cirque du Soleil, at Tony's lunar hotel.
Cirque du Soleil in lunar gravity. This must happen, people. To hell with our hovercars and Martian colonies. This is what I need.
2. I wanted to be an astronaut when I grew up. Well, I haven't gone and acquired the necessary kinds of skills, so ain't likely to happen. But I still want to go to space, for, you know, a decent amount of time.
3. Tom Hiddleston, Hamlet, live theater, best seats in the house.
For real, if this ever happened, I would go into serious amounts of debt just to get myself to London to see it. Possibly repeatedly.
3a. who else would be in that cast? Imagine your dream team. Seriously, I'd love to hear other people's ideas in the comments.
Helen Mirren as Gertrude, perhaps?
4. Also: in my bed. In or out of any of his characters. Repeatedly. For, like, at least a week.
5. Magpie tattoo. I don't even know if the technology we have in terms of inks is even capable of the accuracy I'd want, ie, the whiteness of the underside, the iridescence of other feathers.
6. Posing for Adipositivity.
6a. Getting a Les Toil portrait: me in microgravity.
7. 2Cellos playing at my wedding. Also, those white Doc Martens with the rose cut out on the ankle being reissued so I can wear said boots at
said wedding.
