Wilson wants to be in a Fringe fic.

Today, there was free cheesecake at work and I approved. Whole heartedly. Perhaps more than I should have. Also, I was approached this morning by a Jehovah's witness at the bus stop and it was so surreal (and I was, honestly, half asleep at the time) that I forgot about it until I pulled the magazine she gave me out of my bag when I got home from work. It's full of “scientists” who say that dinosaurs never existed.

Sounds like Fringe science! Well, actually, no it doesn't, but I'm going to talk about Fringe anyway.

Fringe Fics that Are

Correspondences is epistolatory Peter backstory Fringe fic. And it's good. Yeah, basically, words cannot express my love for this. I read this and my intense drive to find moremoremore fringe is momentarily sated.

Merry Merry Fringemas Walter decides to decorate the lab. The rest of the team humor him.

The Ultimate Fate of those Gerbils. 'Olivia agrees to the experiment. Of course. '

Five Times Peter Talked To Olivia After Hours (And One Time He Didn't)

Deep Purple Cow '"I'm feeling incredibly horny today," Walter says.'

I Picture You in the Sun. Olivia dealing with John in her head.

It is What It's Going to Be. Fringe/SPN.

No Path Untaken Fringe/The Graveyard Book(!). Bod decides to explore the graveyards in America, and what does he find? Fringe science, of course! That's what I always find in graveyards.

She is a Flask Trapped Inside a Fall Fringe/SPN; angsty Olivia/Sam.

Variable. 'The dead bodies and leads back to Massive Dynamic get old after a while.' This story has some typos in it, and the characterization is slightly rocky in parts, but I think it's worth it. I should say it's a bit dark. It brings up the possibility of other enemies without needing to give Olivia super powers.

Fringe Fics that Should Be

Fringe: The one where the Fringe team gets trapped in an elevator and in the enclosed space Peter cannot help but notice that Olivia has changed her shampoo recently. Of course, he doesn't comment on it. That's why Walter is there. Bonus points if Walter makes a comment about erections being inconvenient in confined spaces. (I am twelve years old, yes, but not in the story.)

Fringe: The one with Astrid back story. I've got scribbles, but there's no plot. Maybe it could be combined with the one where Astrid gets a chance to leave the fringe team, but doesn't.

Fringe: The one where Charlie is AWESOME. No, I don't have anything else to add to that idea. YET.

Fringe/SGA: The one where there is Olivia Dunham and there is John Sheppard. Come on, I can't be the only one thinking it. Of course, I don't know how much of an overlap there is between people who watch SGA and people who watch Fringe, but both shows have fake science so, um. The point is that they should be in a fic together.

Fringe/Iron Man: alskdjfsa The one where the Iron Man suit malfunctions in Boston, or something, and the Fringe team takes him in and Pepper shows up and convinces the team that it's not actually fringe science (just a different type of fake science all together, joy!). Basically, the point of this fic is that Olivia and Pepper have a conversation. Hot. My giant girl crush(es), the internet can have them.

Fringe/House: Someone suffering from fringe science ends up as one of House's patients and of course, when the Fringe team shows up to take the guy House is not going to let that happen easily. He would do something ridiculous, like handcuff himself to Walter. Actually, as I haven't seen an episode of house in a few years, I have no idea what he'd do, but I bet it would be funny. Oh, and Wilson should be involved, because Wilson should always be involved.

ETA: Wilson gets his wish! I just posted (my first) comment fic on May's crossover meme: Three Wise Men Fringe/House. Crack, but crack in which I juggle five speaking characters in a not completely crap way, so I'm happy with it.

the internet is for xovers, recs:fic, fringe
