well mary came home on friday and i had soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much fun with her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-) that pretty much made my day/week. it was so much fun to see her and finally catch up with her because i miss her!!!! we went at about 9;30 to savon near her house to get double scoops of bubble gun ice cream (which is of course our tradition) then we went to see pride and prejudice and ate frozen chocolate frosting (yet another tradition) then i went back to her house and spent the night. we were laughing soooooo hard. the movie was good but a little fast for us fans of the older version. plus the end was just bizzare. so of course mary and i rewrote it (which is yet another one of our traditions) now i can't wait til thanksgiving break when mary and sarah will be home for like 5 days or something!!!! that's gonna be pretty much the coolest week ever!
then i went out to northridge to teach these seminars. so i walk in and nacy mcintyre stops me and is like omg can you help me with check in? and so i did presenter check in for like a few hours and while i was there there were these 2 mentors to this one team and they were arguing about what seminars their kids should go to and stuff and then they started yelling at eachother stuff liek hey lets take this right now and then they like attacked eachother and had to be pulled apart! eek! and i was like sitting right where they started fighting so i just got up and left but it was kinda scary. then i went to sean's workshop on business plans and i met some of his friends and his room mate. they are all in this club called SIFE (students in free enterprise) and they have a competition that they compete in to liek help the community is finacial seminars and stuff. then i had to teach the 2 afternoon workshop/seminar things. it was really fun! last year i taught one on chairman's award and since that is such a specialized thign not a whole lot of people came so i wasn't expecting very many this year. but i was teaching one on systems engineering and my teams design process (which is pretty unique) and like we had around 80 people come! so it was pretty fun. the only bad thing is a lot of my FIRST friends graduated so didn't get o see them but hopefully they will come to the competitions and stuff. then we went out with caitlin and the guys to denney's and that was fun. now i have lots of hw becsue i was lazy today......
