Weird weird movies...
So... we went to see The Savages tonight. And it was a really great film - but damn if it wasn't one of the darkest comedies I've ever seen. It was really quite depressing... yet somehow, completely hilarious at times. Just the image of the PSH in his head-strap/pressure relief contraption will stay with me always.
So, in an effort to not watch two artsy movies in one evening, we have forgone the viewing of "Eagle vs. Shark" for something that requires no brain activity. The sci-fi original movie (so you know it will be crap) "Mammoth". I only okayed this selection because it has Summer Glau in it and I love her. She can kill you with her brain.
Seriously... no words on this one. The dialogue was worse than "Death Bed". I'm so far from joking here. It was BAD. And the cgi was even worse. Don't watch it. Your brains will melt.
