We made it to Texas safe and sound, and I finally have a chance to print out and edit my SBB. Only, what, 3 days before it's due? X_X

Yay, I'm happy you relocated okay! Ugh, but sorry about the three days! If it makes you feel better, bb, I was a terrible procrastinator and only edited mine recently. It took me at most two. Yours is a little longer, but I know you can do it and I can't wait to read it afterward. :D

:D It's so hot here! It's weird. XD Yeah, I thought of how to fix one of the only two parts that need work on the drive, just have to redo the end a bit. :) I'm actually quite optimistic about my chances. ^^ I did just contact my artist, still talking with them. How've you been? :) Good Thanksgiving?

I had a great Thanksgiving and I hope you did, too. The moving didn't affect it, did it?

And it's great that you're doing well with the story. I have no doubt you can fix it. Even after the final submission tomorrow, you can still polish before your posting date, if you need to. I just asked about your artist to make sure you'd had a chance, between all the frenzy of moving. I can't wait to see the compilation. :D

Actually, we were in New Mexico and the first half of Texas for Thanksgiving, so we didn't get to celebrate it this year. The boyfriend had to go back to California to get his car and bring it down, so my parents have been kind enough to put off their own Thanksgiving meal until after he gets back. :) We'll be doing a joint Christmas/TG type thing.

I actually didn't, until the 30th. ^^; She's going to try to whip something up, and I'm amazed at how wonderful she's been about it. I didn't realize before I left that I had to contact her. >.o Have I thanked you for the help with the reminders on this stuff yet? I probably would have been lost without you, so thank you! :D I don't remember if maja_li also signed up, but it's yours and hers I think I'm looking forward to most. So excited that it's almost here!

Aww, I'm sorry you had to skip it, but I'm sure this means you will have an amazing Christmas, with the combined feel. :)

It's okay since they're a new big bang, but the other I've participated in gave explicit timelines for when you should contact your artist, how much should be done by a specific point, and so on. I think that really helps, but either way, I hope you both can work it all out.

And it's no problem at all. I'm mostly excited about yours and maja_li's, too. She's still participating. ♥

It definitely would have helped to have explicit dates -- a lot of my confusion came from not feeling the directions were clear enough.

I'm a huge Christmas person, and this will be the first year my family's been together for it since I was 15. I'm sincerely looking forward to it. ^^

Yay! Glad to hear she is. I forgot that arsenicjade was writing, as well; that's another good one. :D
