DRAGONTOWN GROUP ORDER!
I haven't done one of these since 2006, but I figured it's high time we all got a break on the cost of supplies! I'm offering a group order for the following items at prices and quantities well below that of my usual wholesale policy. The prices work out to be about 40% off retail. I'll be driving to pick the bones up at the factory, so it saves us on the cost.
For those of you who remember, the last group order I hosted was enormous. It took tons of preparation, communication, and patience for everyone involved. Hosting a group order is difficult and time consuming, and it requires trust and patience on behalf of the people who are ordering. If you are in a hurry to receive these supplies, please order them elsewhere. There is nothing fast about ordering with a co-op arrangement, and pestering the host about how quickly the supplies will arrive only serves to make sure the host never undertakes another group order again.
I'm going to place an order for:
1/4" spiral boning by the yard
1/4" whitebone by the yard
1/4" boning tips
32cm (12.5") busks
The bones and tips are American-made. The busks are made in China. BUT, they are better than those I had always ordered from Germany. They are thicker and a fraction of the cost, with a very nice powder coating. I am systematically replacing my sold-out German stock with them at Dragontown Corset Supply. I use them exclusively in Dragontown Corsets, all of which are suitable for tight lacing. They rock. You must trust me on that.
MINIMUMS and PRICES:
1/4" spiral....................100 yard minimum @ $0.50 per yard
1/4" whitebone............100 yard minimum @ $0.66 per yard
1/4" boning tips...........4 ounce minimum @ 5.50 per ounce (Appx. 200 tips per ounce)
32cm (12.5") busks....10 busk minimum @8.25 per busk
4% transaction fee.....covers the cost of processing PayPal, Visa, and Master Card payments.
1.5% currency conversion fee..... evil, but unavoidable for anyone who places an order from outside the USA.
TOTAL ORDER MINIMUMS:
So that I meet the manufacturer minimums to place our order, we will have to collect a total of:
5 orders of 1/4" spiral
5 orders of 1/4" whitebone
8 orders of 1/4" tips
10 orders of 32cm busks
Feel free to order more than one minimum for any item. It helps us ensure the order is successful!
OTHER BUSK LENGTHS:
I am willing to procure busk lengths other than 32cm for customers who are willing to purchase in increments of 50. The lengths available are in 2cm increments. Please contact me for pricing.

SHIPPING:
1) All orders will ship via USPS. Their flat rate priority prices are excellent for both domestic and international parcels.
2) Because there is no way for me to determine the weight of your parcel until it's packed, you will pay for your shipping in a second transaction. Meaning, you will first pay for the items, and when they are boxed, you will be contacted to make a second payment for the shipping cost.
3) All parcels must be insured. Orders that are lost or damaged will only be refunded when the post office pays out your insurance claim.
4) USA customers have the choice of parcel post or priority. International customers whose parcels are less than 4 pounds in weight can also choose parcel post or priority. International parcels over 4 pounds must ship priority.
5) I have no control how long international orders may be delayed by customs. Most countries will not consider a parcel "lost" until 30 days have elapsed.
6) Check and double-check the correctness of your shipping address. If a parcel comes back to me as "undeliverable" I will not pay to have it re-sent unless there was an error on my part.
7) Please don't beat me up about the cost of the shipping. These materials are deceptively heavy, especially in the quantities you're ordering. I will present you with the best prices that I have been quoted.
ORDERING:
When you place and order, you must provide:
1) Your name
2) Your shipping address
3) Your billing zip code
4) Your telephone number
5) Your email address
6) Your PayPal address if you'd like a PayPal Invoice
7) The items you wish to order, and their quantity.
8) You will be assigned an order number. Please use it so I can keep track of things.
PAYMENT:
1) Payment can be made via PayPal, either by sending the amount to the account of "orders@dragontowncorsetsupply.com," or by requesting a PayPal invoice. Please reference your order number.
2) Payment can be made by Visa or Mastercard by calling 1(570)807-8891. If I cannot answer, please leave your credit card number, expiration date, your name, and your order number on my voicemail. It's password protected, so your information is secure.
TERMS:
1) Please do not place an order if you cannot pay for it immediately. It holds up the order for everyone else. Your order will be canceled if you do not remit payment in full within 3 days of placing your order.
2) I will not split minimums between two or more people. If you'd like to go halves with someone, work it out with them directly.
3) I will place our order with the factory as soon as all payments and orders are tallied. The factory will require 3-4 weeks for these items to be produced. After I receive the order, I will have to measure and coil all that boning BY HAND. It will take time for me to measure, pack, and ship your order. Please be patient. I will get it out as soon as I can. Please do not harass me about it, because you can bet I'm working as quickly as possible. Orders will be shipped in the sequence they were placed.
4) When you contact me with your order, it is a contract to purchase and pay for these items as well as pay for the cost of their shipping. I will not refund a transaction under any circumstances, so please make the commitment to see your order through before you contact me. Otherwise, you're just hurting the other participants and driving up the cost of future co-op orders because of the hassle.
