Sewing/designing question

This is probably a bit off topic but I want to use this for sewing/making corset patterns as well and since this is the only group of sewers I know I figured I'd ask here ( Read more... )

I always used 1/4" twill tape. You should probably be able to find it in most fabric stores.

When I was studying fashion design and in the fashion industry, we just used twill tape. :)

Yeah, you can use the narrow twill tape and pin it in place, or if you want an actual adhesive tape (safe for dress forms), 1/8" graphic tape is great.

Graphic tape? I've never heard of that before, where do you get it? Actual tape might work better since I wouldn't have to use my pins... thanks:)

Graphic tape comes from any decent art supply store. If you're in the SF Bay Area, I know that Accent Arts in Palo Alto carries it.
