black dirt will stain your feet
once again, i've let my lj stagnate for an insanely long period of time. since the last post, i have (finally) watched the dark knight, mugged my ass off whilst randomly catching glimpses of the Olympics on TV, and ravished off much of the chocolate i have at home.
congrats to the Singapore table tennis team for the silver medal! :) i was pretty excited during the team finals because of the whole medal thing, but also because zhang yining has the same name as me o: this is surely a sign! ping pong is my true calling in life! but on to more serious stuff - i didn't manage to watch the match last night, because of chinese tuition; however, afterwards i watched the news and when li jiawei was all sad and teary i did feel really bad for her :(
EYAs THUS FAR
english - wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. i just found it very hard to string my points together and they all came out sounding very incoherent and irrelevant to the question.
bio - i didn't think it was too hard or anything, just kind of strange :\
physics - last physics paper IN MY LIFE, this calls for a celebration!!! it was difficult, i thought i'd understood the concepts pretty well prior to the exam but the mcqs stumped me.
lit - haha best paper so far, i thought it was pretty fun to do, especially the first question :) was also quite well prepared for the second question, and i managed to finish with a little time to spare. SCORE!
math - CARELESS MISTAKES ARE THE BANE OF MY EXISTENCE. plus i didn't know how to do the last part of the silly circles question during the exam but i do now.
philo - pretty good, considering how i only learnt about liberty and all that at the last minute :)
as for the rest of the papers, i'm going to pass Chinese (i hope!!), and i'm kind of apathetic about SS. today i managed to revise organic chemistry and i understand it so much better now. 5 more days, and i will be free :)
