i lift my eyes up to the hills, where does my help come from?
i just got back from school after gb, turned on my comp, and this is practically the first thing i see:

in other news, i'm still very undecided about what to take for options - none of the science ones interest me, and out of the Lang Arts ones I would really, really like to go for the superhero one, the one on religions, as well as the one on myths and legends. :D after school today jolene and i both decided we wanted to go for the bridges for engagement thing, but according to azahar it's full. D:
the pts are finally over :D if there's one thing i really learnt from the completion of the pts, it's that God alone is faithful. i started off my weekend feeling extremely stressed and exhausted and cranky, but later i felt much better and managed to get more efficient, because i decided to stop worrying. to put everything in God's hands and let Him be in control, and to know that He is sovereign. when we sang praise you in this storm during CFC on thursday i didn't find it especially significant, or anything; at that time i was relatively unconcerned about the state of my pts. but in the past few days i found that i could identify with the song so much.
i was sure by now
that You would have reached down
and wiped our tears away
stepped in and saved the day
but once again, i say 'amen'
and it's still raining
as the thunder rolls
i barely hear You whisper through the rain
'i'm with you'
and as Your mercy falls
i'll raise my hands
and praise the God who gives and takes away
