Same Blake, New Shit
My apartment layout for this summer and the following school year:
I'm going to be living with my same roomie from the dorm.
I figured it best to live with someone where we both are familiar with each others living habits, etc.
Plus he's a great friend.
In case your wondering I'm getting the smaller of the two rooms.
I figure it be cheaper. (housing in irving is fucking expensive)
This place includes two swimming pools, spas, and BBQ areas.
It's about a 10 minute walk to the University Center for trader joes, in & out, and the edwards theater.
About a 15 minute walk to campus.
And a 20 minute drive to my new job at...
The one at Crystal Cove Promenade in Newport off of PCH.
I could probably just chill at the beach after a mid shift and read comic books.
Dude, i've always wanted to learn about and how to make different types of coffee.
Also, the starting pay sure beats the Laemmle
And since Newport is this rich bitch area, I'll be getting some good tips.
(or so the manager tells me).
Training begins this Friday and I hope all goes well.
I can't wait to get money to buy shit for my apartment.

Well, with that said, I really feel the first year of college went well and is wrapping up quite nicely. I still have 7 weeks left of school (I know thats a little far away compared to most of you). A picked up a few friends here and there. I became more familiar with the Orange County area. I'm loving the Irvine Spectrum, South Coast, and the beaches. Chillin' with Lesley. Lee's Sandwiches kick ass. School wise, i love my campus. I volunteer at our Film and Video Center every thursday. I still haven't dedicated myself to a major. I'm going to attempt civil engineering next year and see how that clicks, and maybe follow up with more psych classes. Other than that.. nothing extraordinarily new has happened to me thus far. Hopefully I can catch up with some of you guys over the summer in Pasadena. Good luck to the rest of you.
