[Can't speak for the others, but Sheena wouldn't've thought to inform Dhaos at all - it was a while before she talked about it with anyone who wasn't directly involved in putting him down there.]

The way I hear it, it sounds more like he somehow got them to fight each other, and got away in the meantime.
