...There is also an uncomfortable, stabbing feeling right at her heart, and if Jennifer had the mind now to analyze it, she would have recognized it as anger.
Instead she just attempts a watery smile and walks to Sheena's bedside, setting down a bundle of roses.]

On the little table next to Sheena's bed is a pitcher and glass of water. They seem to think she's doing well enough (and has enough visitors) to keep drinking it on her own. But it could also be a convenient vase, as long as Jennifer found another glass somewhere before she left. Either way, Sheena sees the flowers and gives another tired smile, nodding to the nearby chair]
