A Streetcar Named Desire
Written by Tennessee Williams
This intense and dramatic play will stretch the capabilities of both the actors as well as the technical workers. The story, set in the restless years after World War II, centers on Blanche DuBois, who mysteriously appears at the home of her sister, Stella, and her husband, Stanley Kowalski in the French Quarter of New Orleans. The ensuing action brings out the inner animal in Stanley and throws all of the characters into a raging world of lust, passion, and despair.
