If I came from Wales, I would be ashamed...
*On Friday, I was ordered to WASH DIRTY DISHES at work (um, I work as a writing tutor. I don't think that position involves cleaning dirty dishes that I didn't dirty). I ended up cutting my hand. Not badly, its just that since I'm not very COR-savvy, I didn't realize just how sharp butcher knives are. Still, it sucked.
*My mom got and filled out an application to work part-time at a retirement community near our home. I'm secretly very proud of her for this, although I doubt it will happen. For one, my dad doesn't know anything about it, and feels she shouldn't work because its not "cost effective." (WTF???). So she's going to have to explain alot when she gets it, but I really hope it does work out for her.
*Today I had to attend the Dean's List Convocation, and it was the biggest waste of time ever. But afterward, my parents did take me out for a celebratory meal and I had lots of wine +rum & coke, so I guess it wasn't all bad.
