Things move at quite a frenetic pace sometimes.
Megan and I have spent much of the day talking about our shifting attitudes about life. Mainly that we're tired of avoiding events or situations because of concerns about money, time, or feasibility. My time in South and Central America has awakened something in me. I'm now nearly obsessed with the question of how and when I will return. Megan seems to share my excitement about backpacking trips and climbing mountains.
I am practically vibrating with the excitement surrounding the great DC-to-Portland Road Trip 2K8.
Here is our
Departure: Friday, June 27th - spend the night in Elkins, WV
Saturday, June 28th - Columbus, OH
Sunday, June 29th - Bloomington, IN (do you know what this means!?)
Subsequent days:
- Missouri (Meg's grandparents and my friend in Kansas City)
- Colorado (Denver and Boulder)
- Arizona (Flagstaff)
- California (LA, Newport Beach, San Fran)
We'll also be going through small portions of Kansas and Utah
