I went ahead and pre-ordered the 4th editon of Dungeons and Dragons.  I haven't owned D&D since 2nd edition, and I have to say the new stuff looks pretty fascinating.

Plus it's hard to beat 45% off the MSRP I got through Amazon.com.

From what I've seen so far, it's a much cleaner layout. That said, there is an excessive amount of white-space. There are pages where up to 1/4 of the page is just blank. I know they can't just generate more text to fill in the blanks, but they could have at least put in a small piece of art, or something, in there.

Do you already have the books? I've been looking for PDF previews or stuff like that, and from what little I've seen on the wizards web site you would think pre-release information was equivalent to some kind of State Secret.
