The weekend in review
Friday was fun. Those of you who follow Jirel's blog know how much rain we got dumped on Friday. My usual 15 minute drive home turned into an hour-and-a-half nightmare while I tried to figure out how to get from work to home with the kids and without driving through ever-rising flood waters. On the upside at least my new computer made it through the rain. Well, I guess I should say that the FedEx truck carrying my new computer made it.
Saturday was spent re-arranging home office furniture, putting together new home office furniture, and generally destroying my house while attempting to get the new computer up and running.
Suday was a rest day in preparation for the Super Bowl. Unfortunately Seattle lost. While Pittsburg deserves a lot of credit for the win, I look back at a handful of key plays and wonder if the game amounted to Seattle losing more to the referees than to Pittsburg.
Now if I could just kick this cold I could enjoy my life again.
