[The Zero pair excitedly headed up the stairs and down the hall -- they'd been waiting for this for a month now -- nails and a pocketknife in Natsuo's hands, a hammer and wire in Youji's.
Even without the invitation, they would have let themselves in without announcement, and they did so now, Natsuo closing the door behind them once they were both inside, eyes widening in excitement as they spotted the monster that lay by the window.]
[Jade glanced at the pair with their materials in hand and gave them a small smile. He adjusted his glasses and walked over to them, the magnet in his hand.]
My, my, how energetic. I'm sure you're both itching to go, but I'm afraid we're not dissecting, per se. [He grabbed the string and needle from Sho and walked over to the monster again.]
[Jade took the sharp knife and ran it through a flame on a candle sitting on top of the table.]
The monster should be easier to deal with if it was dead, but the experiment cannot prove that the magnet is safe for human use if it is. It's only unconscious.
[He blew on the top of the knife and proceeded to do the same with the needle.]
