Another zoo trip . . .

So we went to the zoo again and took David with us this time. There were even fewer people there this time--nice and quiet! The elephants weren't on display though, which was sad. (What do you do with an elephant that isn't on display??!)

Major point to note from the trip: We went to the new butterfly pavilion, which, while not as extensive as the one in Denver, is still quite nice. At several places, they have fruit set out for the butterflies--most of it looks kind of ragged because it's been sitting out a while and been torn into. So anyway, we're surrounded by this beautiful environment and lots of gorgeous butterflies, and my brother's only comment was, "Did that girl say we could have some of this fruit?"

And the fruit at hand was watermelon, which he doesn't even like.

I love my brother :-)

In other news, Aunt Bunny is getting remarried in less than a month. I found out just a few days ago. So I'm scrambling to make them an afghan for a wedding present. At least, I *thought* I would be scrambling. I've never used my Q-hook (for those of you unfamiliar with crochet, it's a very big crochet hook) before, and pulled it out for this occasion. I'm now 1/3 of the way finished, and I just started a couple days ago. I've got an S-hook too, which is even bigger . . . wonder what I'll finally pull *that* one out for!

Have been overemotional the last couple days. Sundays seem to be getting a little rougher again. But overall the last couple weeks have been much better than most of the last few months. So I can't complain!
