Movie night!
Well I saw Glory Road and it was excellent. It was so much fun in the theatre lol. And then before the movie, when we were there like 2 hours before lol we met this woman who actually saw the game when it happened. She told us how her husband had been in Vietnam at the time and how she taped it for him..she said that soon after that the video made the rounds over there and everyone had seen it. We also met this guy who I thought was Duke Keith from KLAQ but alas it was not. Anyway, inside the theatre it was great. Everyone was so excited and anxious. We actually clapped when the movie started and when they showed Don Haskins filling up Josh Lucas's car the WHOLE crowd went wild. The movie was great and it made me so proud of El Paso. I got chills the whole way through. If you are a Miner fan it is a MUST SEE. And if you're not a Miner fan, go see it and hopefully you will become one. Oh and today was my mom's birthday...I made her class cupcakes and took her flowers and balloons. lol it was cute. Well I think thats all for today :)
