- I have lived in Paris for precisely one week, and spent approx 36 hours alone until now
- My dad, Bill and mum have been out to see me at different times
- Me and my dad got here with The Wardrobe and all my stuff on Sunday and we now have 'The Shoe Wall' and all my things have a home
- I have eaten at 'Little Italy' 3 times, the steak tartare restaurant 3 times and the 24 hour restaurant once this week
- My dad got drunk on red wine and we watched The Life Aquatic. Amazing.
- Boy arrived from London on Monday, big red bag in hand and cheeky smile on face
- The 3 of us had enormous bowls of couscous and walked home via the Louvre lit up at night which is drop dead heartbreaking
- My dad left on Tuesday with six bottles of wine bought for 21 euros. We also discovered ham bread.
- Me and Bill dressed up and went and 'did' Paris our way, having sandwiches in the Tuileries Gardens and walking to Champs Elysees
- Colette is officially my new favourite shop. ever.
- Considering Bill looks like an Hedi Slimane muse at the mo (without the crack), the doorman in Dior Homme (which didn't have any clothes?) was a twat
- After snobby man in Dior Homme, the woman in Balenciaga is my new best friend. She was lovely and ran after me to give me catalogues. i'm going back
- The man in the apartment opposite likes to walk around in only his pants. He is old and wears baggy white pants
- The bin men come twice a day.
- I got my boy for 3 and a half days. He managed to mix up his train times and miss his Eurostar. I went from enraged to relieved in that I got to spend more time with him and the 'you're leaving' tension dissipated
- I miss cheddar cheese, Heat magazine and Neighbours
- I have only cried twice this week, when my dad left and when the Sorbonne fucked me over for the 2682148969635029365932nd time
- I managed to arrange my timetable. It's crazy nuts but I don't have to pass the year and I have Fridays off this semester. I am also taking English as a modern language. hahaha
- I feel amazingly comfortable here. For the girl who's been known to get homesick on holiday this is no little matter
- I met Annie. she is awesome and will escort me to Death Disco Paris. Until then we will find her 'her drink'
- My mum arrived Friday night full of enthuisiasm and we ate at 11.30pm. i subsequently couldn't sleep
- We had THE most swish 'ladies what lunch' lunch in a restuarant that was frequented by Voltaire and Diderot
- She spent a trolleyload of books/Cds/whathaveyou. I have accumulated: 2 bras, a diary, the Chanel DVD, The Independent newspaper, Jalouse magazine, some bread and a massive necklace
- She went back this evening and tomorrow I'll go to H+M and buy a grey hoodie, read everything, eat cheese and wait for my flatmate to come back on Tuesday
