Justin and Nikki got me a GREAT Christmas present...a book of old major league stadiums...AND...mini replicas of them!!! Active parks, Wrigley Field(Chicago), Yankee Stadium(New York), Fenway Park(Boston)...and the closed parks, Tiger Stadium(Detroit), The Polo Grounds(New York), Ebbets Field(New York). AWESOME gift!!! It got me to looking into baseball.com, at the larger replicas. They're $65 each, but they're bigger, and nicer. Plus, there's some other classic baseball parks in that set, like Shibe Park(Philadelphia), League Park(Cleveland) and Sportsman's Park(St. Louis). One disapointing park that didn't get a replica was Braves Field in Boston!!! What a park to leave out, they got the other great old parks, but not that one??? Also, no Baker Bowl in Philadelphia...not a classic, but it had a tunnel underneath right field!!! It also had a pool underneath the stadium...the first park to have one!!! UGLY though!!! :)
Anyway, the first parks that I want are, Polo Grounds, Ebbets Field and Shibe Park!!! Only $195 plus tax...*shrugs*
