Let us speak hypothetically.
Say that there are two people in your life that are romantic interests, neither of which you have actually acted upon, but could easily do so at any time as they both want you very badly and both are very much accessible.
One makes you sigh when you think of them, your heart constricts, your pulse quickens and you cannot help but imagine kissing them (with your whole body) slowly and deeply for hours on end. Emotionally and physically, the possibilities are endless. You feel like a bumbling idiot when they're around, a quick hug seems a soul-melting magnetic press of bodies and you want this sweetness and depth all for yourself. This is someone that you genuinely like, and could perhaps even really love. Deep, far-reaching emotional and physical passion is a definite and friendship is guaranteed. This person would never wrong you, and would be your partner in everything.
The other one intellectually fascinates and physically stimulates you. When you imagine kissing them it is always hard and lip-crushing and the sex - like the conversation - has an intensity bordering on brutality. In your mind, they make the term "USE" into a fine dessert. You find that you don't care so much about your differences so long as you can have them and let them have you however they wish. Emotionally...who cares? That comes into play when things slow down. Right now, all you want to do is possess them, own them, be owned by them and saturate yourself in everything that they are.
