HEAT!!!!
I finally got ahold of the people to come turn the heat on in my house. It's been two weeks that we've been playing phone tag. He called last night and said he would be there today...and he was...and now I am warm. I've been staying mostly with my parents due to lack of sleep because of lack of heat. Therefore my roommates (my male roommates) have been unattended. So needless to say the house is a freakin mess. Instead of throwing the trash in the trash can they leave it on the counter that's six inches from the trash can. Then when one of them decides to replace the trash bag they leave it on the back porch for me to put in the dumpster. I love them to death, they have been by far my best roommates. But they are boys and need constant attention. Thank God they have girlfriends or this would be a full time job.
Speaking of girlfriends...my very best friend in the whole world lives in Rio Rancho, NM. I was in her wedding in summer 2004. She is a nursing student up there and loving married life. Well she called me last night and informed me that I will be becoming an Aunt. SHE'S PREGNANT!!! She's going to be the best mom ever. And I'm going to spoil the shit out of that kid.
