I was just cutting some lemons for lemonade when, out of the corner of my eye, I saw the salt shaker.
My mouth immediately watered. And I thought, "Since when does my brain want to eat salted lemons?"
The answer came quickly: Since tequila shots in Spain, 2007.
The memories from Spain sneak up on me, at all moments of the day, and I know that they'll never really stop. I guess I don't really want them to.
For old time's sake, I shook some salt on my hand and bit into a lemon slice. Honestly, I don't think I've had a tequila shot since I left Spain. So maybe when we're planning our parties this summer, we can put some tequila and lemon wedges on the menu. I could use a good flashback.
