Things are NOT going back into the TARDIS.
1. cleaned out that coat closet, took me 10 days to put it together again but things won't all go back in there. HOW? It all came out and I threw out a shit ton of it.
2. Removed the manga pile off the hope chest today so I could get to the winter casual clothes and change them out and put away the summer. I culled about 3 dozen manga I've a) had forever b) was given the first few when I was reviewing for an online magazine and never finished c) started a couple and didn't like. In spite of this it didn't want to fit back on the chest. Um.... (also I should have done this when I changed from winter to summer back in May so I could have given all these to the Carolina traveling manga library at Tsubasacon this October. Now I need to store this stuff somewhere or find someone who wants a crap load of old manga)
3. removed all the winter clothes from the hope chest, culled a half dozen t-shirts for donation, and about 12 items will NOT go into the chest. WTF? It's always fit. Yes I bought a few new shirts this year but they're all still in the closet (because Dad is becoming one of those old men who are ALWAYS cold so he tries to kill Mother and I with the heater. I have to wear T-shirts when home at Christmas) I also threw out shirts and shorts in May. Why is this not going in? Have my Tetris skills failed me?
4. Adding to my confusion is Ohio Health. They called my parents again. I have NO idea why. Okay I think they had their number at home as my 'home' when I went from nursing home to their place in 2021 but I've been going to Ohio Health since then. I've been there every 10 days since AUgust. I KNOW they have my cell phone and house number. Last month they scared the shit out of my parents calling them (they thought it WAS an emergency) I spoke to them then and said no that's my emergency number please fix it. They swore they did. They didn't. The nurse swears she fixed it today (doubtful) but also she has NO idea why they called either (in spite of me obviously having HER phone number) Watch that have been my call to schedule my back procedure on Thursday.
5. Speaking of confused, Mother Nature, are you drunk? Why is it in the mid 60s every day this week except for Thursday? Why when I have to go have a nerve block in my back it's going to be 30 and raining? Sigh.
What isn't confusing is how many great friends I have. THANK YOU for everyone who chimed in on my ending issues for the novel. It's much appreciated. I know what I need to do now.
My
fandomtrees is up and you can find it
here if you want to make me something for the holidays. (always hopeful...and I could hope people in my fandoms want pairings I can do but so far no joy)
Let's continue with the Music Monday on Wednesday this time but this time I'll start with sharing songs that contain a certain color, starting with the rainbow and picking up a few of the other biggies down the road. Feel free to chime in with your favorite song(s) that follow the weekly letter. Hit me with your favs. I love hearing new music or revisiting older pieces. Yellow is the next color in the rainbow.
There are so many yellow songs but like always I'm going with the ones I know/like. Share away with yours too
Here's the only one that's not ancient
