I went to Gallipolis to hear part of the Civil War symposium at the library. I got to hear the talk about the hospital that was in town that I had no idea about (and got to talk to the ladies from the John Gee church which was a major stop on the Underground Railroad about the two sister chiropodists (the precusor to podiatry) in early 20th century

That's a lot of flooding. I would have been looking out the window a lot.

Wow, that's a lot of water. I'd be a little worried, too. Sorry that the one author didn't make it, but the other sounded like a win.
