225 miles of rain
I made it home. It rained all the way. At least it was a low drizzle for the most part. I'll be here for a week.
The new characters are chatting to me all the way too. Finally. I was looking at Three Raven publishing (the ones who do the It Came from the Trailer Park anthologies) and they had
this open call I have the beginning (1100 words of it yesterday) and I have the end but how dark do I make the middle... I want to name the prince after a tree. Tentatively he's Hawthorne but I'm open to other trees. Suggestions?
My anthology book didn't arrive before I left and I'm wondering if I'm getting one of my novel at all... I hope so. If not I'll just buy the damn thing because you can get it in paperback at Amazon at least.
Broke into the Schogetten candy I got mom for early easter. It's filled with some kind of cream. All I know is it's mit milch and calcium (with milk and calcium I think so...cream?) as the whole thing is in German. It's good though.
Evil Little Dog told me Silvrethorn had found all female med schools in Scotland which I had been hoping for but MY search didn't turn up...and my search box had literally the title of the article in question. Why Google? WHY? So if you run across anything about female doctors in the 1850s -1950s and think 'eh Dana probably knows,' tell me anyhow!
