it ended up being a 10 1/2 hour day which was hella long for my first day back. Honest the worst of it is how tired I am. The belly feels like...ever have a GI 'flu' and have 24 hours of diarrhea, that dull ache after that? Yeah that's what it's like.
My friend TH was in his office today. Did mention he's not to be driving (he knows it but is trying to convince me they said he could drive in a week. I'm like dude. All they did was take out a small organ and I was put off for 2 weeks and you had your entire chest wired together, you only have 1 week? It's usually 2 months in case anyone is wondering). He looks okay but is feeling the depression that comes with major events like open heart. Still, I was glad to see him.
I hope I get some sleep in some tomorrow. I had hoped to on Sunday (as it would have been the first time since my surgery I could have. My apt is too noisy and at home my parents have NO idea how hard of hearing they are or how loud) but nope. Same today.
How about a little twist on music monday? Every week a new letter represented. You've seen this challenge before. So the group/solo act has to start with the letter of the week and if you want you can borrow this for you blog or drop your music into the comments here. Let's have some fun with this. Share some music with me
Letter J
Okay there are WAY TOO MANY J names that I like.
I'm leaving this one outside the cut because right now this is one of the two Jethro Tull songs I want to use to do that open call (I'd rather do the fantasy one but they're not sure they're doing that. So this will be for the SF one I'm trying to figure out what is haunting them)

Snippet Grace hung close to Al hoping he’d take the hint that they didn’t want him close. Al asked her if she had heard about the upcoming poetry slam. Judging by his face, he didn’t approve of the idea and since Grace already knew about the slam, she assumed Al was aware of his dislike. Grace played off that and they chatted about the slam - leaving him entirely out of the conversation until they got to the quad.
