Mostly ready to go
In the thankful I'm driving arena, I'm going for 2 1/2 days, I have 3 sets of boots, 1 corset-preplum combo, 2 mini bustles and SIX hats. I'm tempted to do mid-day costume changes at this point. Way to be indecisive.
And self, is there any reason you bought snacks for five to take with you to the hotel this weekend? Also do you REALLY need to pack the Kracken rum? Apparently you do because it's in the car next to the bag of 6 hats and all the other cosplay stuff.
I'm going to have to stop at tractor supply to see if I can get leather treatments for my cowboy boots. I haven't worn them in forever. They are stiff to the point of maybe not being salvagable. The snakeskin weirdo boots are fine. My duster is also in sad shape, it got mildew on it so I had to wash it up. It's looking better. Found my two walk-about hats too. The boots/jackets/hats were bought in South Dakota 27 years ago. Hmmm why do I still have this? Oh okay for my weird west cosplay apparently.
Gave my exam based off me copying and pasting the homework into the exam. Class average 65%. this is the homework they're told to print and study from. FOUR of them didn't 'see' the last page of the exam (and wanted it back almost 2 hours later to finish it. Yeah no)
I managed to edit the sapphic horror. All I have to do is format it and give it a title and a cover letter and get it out of here sometimes during the con weekend. Whee.
So I have high hopes for the weekend even if I'm alone. I'll enjoy the panels and I'm sure the music will be fun. I'll spend too much money and I have coolers and crap ready for my excursion to Jungle Jim's 200,000 square feet of international market. Hold me.
