Another Day of utter nonsense
from Blackboard from hiding assignments, to erasing parts of assignments and otherwise being bat crap crazy.
Today started weird. My phone alarm went off today at 7am. I don't use my phone as an alarm. Even if I did, I don't start work until 10. I don't get up at 7 AM. What the actual fuck? I'm wondering what happens to you people who sleep thru alarms. Do you all die? I've been awoken by alarms in other people's apts. I heard that damn phone alarm today two rooms away and it was buried in my purse.
I cracked yet another flash drive (at least this one is still functioning and I've copied everything off of it)
And I'm sitting here all day with such conflicted feelings. I hate being made to feel like this. On one hand I feel like I'm losing my empathy and on the other I feel like my paranoia is overwhelming. If Trump really does have the virus, I can't work up the energy to care. I have thoughts about what I'd like it to do to him. If this is a ploy to follow along with Boris Johnson (who got a big boost out of his recovery) I can see that being true too. Ugh.
I find it ironic (as does much of Twitter) that twitter is insisting anyone saying they hope Trump gets very ill and dies to remove that post or be banned. On one hand, yeah we shouldn't be doing that but for every woman, LGBT person, PoC etc who have been threatened with death and maiming for years on social media and Twitter turned a blind eye to it, this is far too little far too late.
Have you ever read a novel where the plot is interesting but EVERY character is just a horrible person? Oh we see them doing things in private to reassure us deep down they're good but every interaction with others is a horror show? I'm considering DNFing. What would you do?
