I'm on fire
My day started with me dislocating my knee cap with the heel of my other foot. (this knee cap is a floater because of past surgery but that doesn't mean it doesn't sting when I knock it out of alignment)
I spent a lot of time trying to figure out what caught my electric stove top on fire. I lifted a pan to see how the gravy was coming and when I put in on the burner it caught fire. But if something was on the pan it should have already been burning. At least it's out now. It took a while to realize the burner shorted out and caught fire. THat means a trip up to Chillicothe to get one. Yeah I could get it online but then I couldn't go Halloween shopping.
Decided egg drop was needed. chicken base- rancid, sesame oil rancid. Whee. At least my ginger was good.
Signed up for a zoom meeting with Craig Johnson (who writes the longmire series) and Lou Diamond Phillips for this thursday. Should be fun. here.
Also bought hiking boots and dress shoes from zappos. I have such weird feet I'm not holding out much hope they'll fit but at least they ship for free. God knows those boots were pricy.
