Labor Day
I have to say I didn't honor it by not working. I had to put hands on that online class, weed out the students who've dropped before classes started (our system puts them automatically into Blackboard but if they drop it can't pull them back out) and otherwise give instruction for this week's labs as I know there will be confusion (half the students are there one week and on line the other week).
And I recorded my bone lab lectures which is a 2 hour in detail of all the bones, lines, projections holes etc. I've always wanted to record it. I was forced to do it now so it's done. BUT there were technically difficulties. For some reason it wouldn't go full screen (even though it looked like it). It lead me to post this tweet - 'm dying. Instead of recording fullscreen (as I programed it) I just did the skull bone lab with my #ProdigalSon background in the picture. I told them I'm not redoing it so they can just enjoy

To my glee, both men responded. Okay Lou's a sweetie and often does but Tom is far less interactive so that made my day. See it here.
Citizen Soldier is a new to me group this year and their music seems to be centered on starting a dialogue about mental illness and abuse. THis is such a relatable song right here for me (and I think I've found Malcolm Bright's theme song)
