The heel's not broken
I didn't really expect it was but it was good to check. So had the x-ray. NP says you have a HUGE plantar heel spur. Yes I know but that's not where the pain is. NP: Your Achilles has a crown of spurs around it, big ones. Me: Yes I know, doesn't hurt there either. It hurts here. (points to circle drawn on foot with sharpie). Long story short, it's neuritis, I bought some lidocaine gel and slapped my TENs/Inferential unit on it and called it a day. Neither have done much for the pain but there's a shocker.
It hasn't snowed yet like they promised but it rained for at least 16 hours straight. I'm just as glad to sit at home and write things I'm not supposed to be writing. Eye roll.
I am pretty happy to see that in just 2 days 2 AM Aftermath has made it to almost 90 kudos and it would be cool to see it go to 100 so if you know anyone who might like Prodigal Son fan fic....
