I realised something at the match and it wasn't about Quidditch but I think someone found

IT!!!

Have you not noticed all the little CHILDREN around? DO THEY NOT LOOK FAMILIAR? WHO WENT RIFLING THROUGH MY THINGS?!?! Damn you!

This wasn't your fault? It wasn't me, either. I make it a policy not to screw with the Thing Which It Screws With. I've been to busy screwing other things. Besides, this is a stupid thing to do with It.

Why don't you have an alarm on it? Whoever it is, they'd have had to have spent a while doing this, they're not the right difference in age, you could have stopped them if you had alarmed it.

I had it hidden rather well, and I didn't think anyone would find it...

I hope they didn't smash the inner circuitry, that took me ages!

Well, at least this way you know it doesn't have any problems bring people back. I'm a little surprised the universe still exists, you know?

Is it still where you left it?

It's still in working order...the sheet above it is untouched! Whoever the villain was, he or she was very crafty!

I'm going to start DUSTING FOR FINGERPRINTS.

Want to help?

Well, maybe someone developed their own? I don't know who else would have the right mix of genius and insanity, though. Professor Dumbledore? That creepy fourth year who likes to go around with his friends pretending they're electricians and football players and other Advanced Rockets & Robots characters?

Dusting for fingerprints doesn't sound like much fun. Can't you use some sort of revealing charm for that?

Oh, Revealing Charm, of course.

Let me fetch my detective's hat.

NO ONE BUT I COULD BUILD A MACHINE OF THIS CALIBRE

You have a detective's hat? And you didn't tell me? My life could have been so much better.

Not even the great Forge? It's said that he could make any device, muggle or otherwise.

...the great Forge is here?

Who is the great Forge? Could he be the culprit?! AHA

No, he's dead. I can't believe you've never heard of Forge. He had the power to make any device. Then he died. I suppose he's not all that interesting.

Michael, we may have a problem. The children are in the care of Colin Creevey and Ginny Weasley. The continuum thing won't be broken if some of the kids are dropped on their heads or beaten by a redhead with anger issues, will it?

I don't know, I wasn't through with my research! It's too soon! Perhaps our teachers were always dropped on their heads as children...but perhaps not!

Well, we could try killing the one who looks like the muggle studies professor, and see if the universe breaks.

I don't think we should take that chance...

You're probably right.

I wonder, though. If the kids are here, where are their grown up counterparts?

And if teachers aren't around, why isn't the Ravenclaw victory party blasting the music?

That's a good point. Are any of the teachers even around? If they aren't, perhaps it wasn't...an error on my part...after all?

Perhaps not. Did your investigation turn up any leads? Maybe no one really did touch it.

But in the mean time, let's go party.

No fingerprints. Either no one touched IT, or they wore gloves.
