Yay for nothing
Today was my last day to just relax before I go back to school. And relax I did. Since we got a few inches of snow last night, I wasn't really eager to drive anywhere today, especially in my car. So I slept in, exercised on the treadmill (had to do something to make up for not going to the gym), napped, and made a collage to decorate my dorm room with. Julie's side of the room has so much hanging up, and my side has one poster, the periodic table of mixology. I don't want people to think I'm an alcoholic when they walk into my room and see that is the only thing hanging up, so I decided to make a collage. It was fun. I have pictures dating all the way back to my Bat Mitzvah, ahh the joys of 8th grade. Too bad I didn't take more pictures in high school, now is a time I really wish I had more. Oh well, I guess it's too late for that now. I want to make a collage of my school friends, too, but all my pictures are from my digital camera, and they are on my computer at school. So it looks like that project will have to wait till I'm back at school. Who knows if and when I'll have time for that with my crazy semester schedule, but we'll see. I got my booklist online today for next semester. Even though I'm using all my books from last semester over again, somehow the rest of my books still managed to reach the price of about $500. Craziness. 3 classes worth of books for $500. I knew everything at Cornell was expensive, but that's bordering on absurd. Oh well, at least it's my parent's money and not mine! That's about all I have to say for today -- tomorrow is my last big shopping day before I go back, let's see just how much more money I can manage to spend before going back to school haha. For now it's dinner time and then Friends. Adios.
