1st Month in Seattle
So, things are happening too fast for me to update on all of them, so I'll just give you all an incremental update. Feel free to ask for more info about something specific if you're interested!

- Cool Seattle weather, even if it rains
- Spicy Mexican, Indian, and Thai food
- Going to see FF3: Tokyo Drift
- An enthusiatic bus driver who really enjoys his job. In this really great announcer voice he said, as he's supposed to, "this is the first stop in the ride-free area", but then he said "welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to the Twilight Zone". He made comments like a tour guide along the way, like after listing the important city buildings around the stop, he also mentions "and for those in a consumer mode, there's Bed, Bath, ... and Beyond", and at the next stop, "and Nordstrom's - for those who are fashion concious, but financially challenged".
- A hiking trip to Snoqualmine Falls with 15 other interns
- Going to see Cars
- A weekend trip to the San Juan Islands, where we went whale watching and kayaking
- Water-fights on the lake
- Finding an ice cream place on Friday Harbor Island with 72 flavors, including Banana Pudding!
- Learning a few words in Hindi
- Teaching Indians American English
- Lunch with Jeff Bezos
- Cable TV
- Finally getting a cell phone (ask me if you want the number)
- Going out to eat every weekend
- Making plans for upcoming movies (Pirates II)
- Having a 21 year old roommate ;)
- Upcoming Demon Hunter concert
- Getting my very own project to work on at work
- Insightful Onion articles
- Praise from my manager and my mentor
- GUITAR HERO!!!!!1111!!!one!eleventythree!11
- Specialty's fudge brownies that are so good that you can't tell if they're fudge or brownies!
- Horse-drawn carraiges in the city :D
- Reading my Bible
- Worshipping at the altar of American Consumerism - the shopping mall (but not buying anything ;) )
- Nasty Virginia weather in Seattle
- Organizing a trip to the San Juan Islands
- Getting my shoes wet with bay-water, because now they smell
- Not thinking to put sunblock on my feet
- Water-fights on the lake with 45-degree water
- Writing specs for my project at work
- Not getting enough sleep
- No air conditioning
- Coming out of the mall and seeing a guy walking down the street naked (I just hope he lost a bet or something...)
- Getting off at the wrong floor on the elevator
- Posting up Dilbert comics above the urinals as part of "Operation BathroomHumor"
- Crazy products that Amazon sells {Tank, Powder, Bombs, Watch} (well, they're from 3rd party sellers, but still...)
