last night's adventure was evidently not enough.
today was kicked off with andrew showing up and us rocking old skool with movies and what-not, dcking around really (we watched the end of mermaid together, as well as the better part of quiz show ((which made me miss northern exposure)) and wrapped it up with the dawn of the dead re-make...which i had to defend).
I realise i might get raked for my defense of the dawn of the dead remake by purists, to which i must say only this: IT IS A ZOMBIE MOVIE. I have _never_ been dissappointed in a zombie film, because, just like my love of teen girl flicks, I NEVER GO IN WITH EXPECTATIONS. my only hope when i walk in is that three people will be in the film- Zombies, a smart guy/girl, and an asshole who bitches things up and dies. As this is my criteria, i have YET to be dissappointed. I will say i feel that this remake went above and beyond however. yes the zombie ran, but so what?
I also recieved a christmas gift from the lovely abigail mullen, a hand made scarf and excellent mixed cd. That made me feel super all day! Such good friends i have, how dissappointed they will be with their christmas presents. ~sigh~ such is the nature of the beast.
afterwards andrew and i went to "the nasty party" the logical follow-up to the earlier "cocktail party". the drinks were 40s, beers, and rum-n-cokes. dress was to be sulty, trashy, of however else. i did not dress up, but didn't wear underwear, so i felt qualified. Deverly (devon) was there and became entralled by the powers of the scarf made by one of conner oberst's bloodline, so we shared it all night.
a good time was had and an obligatory trip to steak and shake ensued. then it was back to lacon to get my truck. tommorow i go back to lacon once more to pick up andrew and take him here so he can get his car back. how'd this happen, who knows?
ps- I FOUND A CHEAP DVD BY CARMEN ELECTRA ON HOW TO DANCE HIP-HOP AND GIVE LAP DANCES> WOULD IT BE A GOOD IDEA TO BUY AND LEARN THESE MOVES? U-DECIDE!!!
