I really have nothing to do at work today, with three cancellations- so I'm blogging questions!
Last Road Trip-
Last Year, My friend Jennifer and I drove down to Milwaukee to see comedian Todd Barry.
Last Bad Advice
Again- involves seeing comedian Todd Barry! My friend Jennifer and I went again, this time in St. Paul, and our friend Blake joined us as well. I was singled out by Mr. Barry when he asked the auidence if anyone was in therapy. There was a two or three second pause where no one said a word or clapped or anything... so I very tentatively clapped. ...and he tore into me, as is his style.
"You? Jesus Christ- you're the last guy in here who I thought would be. ...looking all put together [I had come straight from work so I was wearing a tie and such]... wearing a fucking tie to the Turf Club... and in a sweater when its 95 degrees in here."
It was really funny.
Then he asked me, "What do you and your therapist talk about?"
...the joke being, that's not really a question you ask someone, of course... so I chuckled, and didn't answer it- that wasn't really the point. Todd Barry paused like he was waiting for my answer, of course...
...and I guy in the audience yelled, "Do It!"
...that was bad advice.
Last Movie I Saw in a Theater
hmmm... what was it? Ah- Machete.
Last TV Show Watched
hmmm... watched a few episodes of How I Met Your Mother last night.
Last TV Show I Enjoyed Watching
I liked How I Met Your Mother- that's why I was watching it! ...but the last show I really enjoyed watching was episodes of the new season of Mad Men at my mother-in-law's house this weekend. So so good, people!
Last Book I Tried to Read
Ha! ...tried? I'm currently reading three- all with much different tones. Freddy Goes to Florida (a children's novel from the 1930s), This Book Will Save Your Life, and The Remains of the Day

Last T-Shirt Acquired
Last T-Shirt Acquired? ...jeeze. I never really buy them anymore because I can't wear them to work... I bought some white t-shirts for under dress shirts about four or five weeks ago. Oh- that's not true. I bought a T-Shirt for Amanda- a Seinfeld themed shirt that says "The Human Fund" (the name of the fake charity George says he donated to on behalf of people in one of his offices for Christmas in order to get out of actually getting them gifts).

God- I have no idea! Probably the box for our receiver and satellite pieces when we cancelled our Dish Network service.

I have a big open blister on the back of my right heel from new dress shoes. It is still there and hurts like the dickens
Last Run In with the Law
Got pulled over a few weeks ago for inattentive driving. I dropped Jennifer off at her house after we saw the Last Exorcism and pulled away fromt the curb and the cop said I cut him off. I really didn't. He paused behind me so I thought he was letting me go, since I wasn't in a parking place. I mean- don't get me wrong- I broke the law. Totally. But it wasn't inattentive driving.
Last Place I’d Want to Live
I don't think I'd be very thrilled to live in the desert. I hate heat and bright sun bugs me and they aren't pretty.
Last Physical Fight
Well- some drunk rednecks grabbed me and threw me around a few months ago and bruised me up pretty good, but I didn't touch them. Last time I hit anyone was in junior high when I kicked the shit out of Robby Grindell.
Last Magazine Read
ehhh...? I read mostly online now so it's hard for me to even remember. Oh- I read a Time Magazine in a waiting room last week.

A pair of pants. The button fell off.

My Playstation. MaryAlice knocked it on the floor so I had to fool around with it to get it to work again.
Last Thing That Made Me Laugh
There's a job posting for some dress shirt company called Dillon Road, and they urge folks to become "Dillon Roadies" ...it's so lame I laughed.
