Plasma Physics
I was able to talk to the Chair of the Physics Department from West Virginia University yesterday about the school and their research. He was also telling me about jobs that his students have gone onto after completing their doctorates there. I have never really wanted to be a teacher and he made me more confident in the fact that I won't have to be one :P. In fact most of his students have gone on to work at National Laboratories. He was also telling me about the real applications of plasma physics and it made me happy to learn that my research may very well NOT be useless hahah. Goood stuff.
